ITANAGAR, June 29: APST station superintendent Tuter Dolum on Saturday urged parents to take care of their wards when they leave for school and until they return home and guide properly how to travel in bus.

Addressing 300 parents of KV I & II students who are availing APST bus services, at bus stand here on Saturday, he said that around 700 beneficiaries are availing services. The department has been maintaining old buses for their welfare to travel with concession card.

Exhorting the parents to ensure discipline of their wards, he asked them to tell them do’s and dont’s while travelling in the bus. He assured his support but sought cooperation of parents and students.

Responding to various complaints and suggestions, he asked to bring to the notice of APST authority if any staff neglects his duty for initiating disciplinary action. The conductors are expected to guide the children and take their care inside the bus, he said, adding this is second such meeting.
